Almacén Art Gallery is located in Barra da Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro), and it was founded in 1986. It soon became one of the most active venues in the world of visual arts in Brazil, and since 1996 it has been offering its visitors and clients a good range of contemporary art by well-known and respected brazilian and foreign artists.

Almacén Art Gallery has been involved in promotional activities as to present its clients a new trend of contemporary art and build a solid group of new collectors within the premises of Barra da Tijuca.

In addition to assisting architects and interior designers with the aquisition of pieces of art, Almacén has participated in national and international contemporary art fairs in order to consolidate the exposure of high quality brazilian art to foreign markets.
